Dr. Caraotta is originally from Buffalo, NY. His undergraduate study in pre-med was performed at Morehead State University in Kentucky. He later obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Human Biology in 1984 from The National College of Chiropractic and a Doctor of Chiropractic degree in 1986. In 1993, Dr. Caraotta completed four years of post-doctoral orthopedic study and after successfully completing two national boards, became board certified as a Diplomat in the American Board of Chiropractic Orthopedics. Dr. Caraotta was the only physician in Rockford board certified in Chiropractic and Orthopedics for over 25 years. 

Dr. Caraotta has been a member of the Christian Chiropractic Association since 1984.  He has served as staff physician at Lakeside Community Hospital in Chicago, IL where he was an active member of the Hospital Utilization and Review Committee. Dr. Caraotta has also served as a chiropractic consultant for several insurance companies. He served four years on the Advisory Board Counsel at the Winnebago County Board of Health, has been a board member of the Samaritan House, BASE Institute, and  President of the Institute of Christian Apologetics.

Dr. Caraotta has been the team physician for several semi-professional football teams including the Rock River Raptors, Beloit Titans, Rockford Riveters, Rockford Rams, and the Roscoe Rush. 

Dr. Caraotta obtained theological training through Global University and holds ministry credentials with the Assembly of God fellowship.  He and his wife, Celeste, are currently doing short term medical missions nationally and internationally, are active in their church, have four daughters, and reside in Boone County Illinois.
