Dr. Caraotta’s undergraduate studies in pre-med were performed at Morehead State University in Kentucky. He later obtained a Bachelor of Science in Human Biology in 1984 from The National College of Chiropractic and a Doctor of Chiropractic degree in 1986. In 1993, Dr. Caraotta completed four years of post-doctoral orthopedic study and became board-certified as a Diplomat in the American Board of Chiropractic Orthopedics. He owned and operated Caraotta Chiropractic Orthopedics PC for over 25 years.

He served as a staff physician at Lakeside Community Hospital, as the team physician for several semi-professional football teams, and as a chiropractic consultant. He was on the Advisory Board Counsel at the Winnebago County Board of Health and held/holds positions in the following organizations: The Samaritan House, Philadelphia Ministries, BASE Institute, The Institute for Christian Apologetics, and the Christian Chiropractors Association.

Dr. Caraotta obtained an MA in biblical studies in 2023, holds ministry credentials with the Assembly of God fellowship, and is endorsed as a chaplain through AGUSM. He is currently in a DMin program through Liberty University. Dr. Caraotta and his wife, Celeste, participate in about ten short-term medical mission trips annually.
